You had really done your homework and had a good insight on the issues before we started. The workshop felt very tailored to what we needed but then you were still flexible enough for us to spend more time on activities that were really working for us. All of the sessions were really engaging and I learnt a lot… I feel much more confident in my approach to management and better equipped to support my report.
As a black woman joining a predominantly white space that largely differed from my previous organisation, I had a lot of reservations and fears. As a result of your learning programme, I developed skills in navigating conflict, managing power dynamics, asking for what I need and taking up space, regardless of my insecurities or sense of imposter syndrome. I feel empowered to be myself and positively impact the culture at my organisation.
Very, very good sessions. Side-stepped a lot of the “pseudo-psychological profile” stuff that I’ve encountered in management training courses in the past. I was impressed with how you got everyone to engage in the activities – there were some really important conversations. I expect major change in the way I collaborate with my colleagues.
It was probably the best training I have had – the sessions were not just fun but genuinely useful, and your energy was infectious… I had conversations that really needed to be had, and I did not think that would happen.
